One has a little makers mark on it and is the version I intended to upload originally, however I couldn't delete the first file. The file that is larger is the one that should be kept.
I'm also not sure how to get get rid of the gold color in the viewer. I assign a basic shader to each model that is white but it doesn't come through in the format. Again, I think if I could get them into 3DS format that would transfer over. I need to install 3D Studio over on my PC to convert, but have not gotten around to it...
We are using an open source 3d renderer and I am not sure if we can set more controls over what should appear in the 3d preview render window. Did you try to reverse engineer the David Bust example model (it is 3ds)? Also we have a bug fix coming in the next few weeks for being able to attach .stl files as well.
I can open it but I think it's all in the format. Once I have 3D Studio installed I think our troubles are over, dude. STL would be boss. 3D printing standard I believe.
